Hello,
Yes, the siren sound by itself randomly. Don't know outdoor sirem because I don't have install it yet because is broken and I am waiting to receive from you a broken circuit.
When the indoor alarm sound the alarm don't do anything, so I have crystal clear that the problem is in the indoor alarm unit because the alarm don't call me or send an SMS like in the normal procedure.
I already have tried to reconfigure, without success. The indoor alarm continues hooting from time to time (maybe one time every two or three days).
Regards César

Hi, do you mean your indoor siren sound by itself randomly? Not outdoor siren?
When the indoor siren sound, does the alarm do anything at all? Or just the siren is hooting by itself?
After you power on the indoor siren, please try to press the little black learn button for more than 10 seconds and then release. It should erase the memory of the indoor siren, then try to program the indoor siren to the system again following the user manual.

One of the motion sensors make noise when i walk near it. The noise is coming from the actual motion sensor NOT from the security unit. Does this mean the battery power is low?

Are you sure your SIM card supports MMS function? Some SIM card doesn't have this function.
Also, do you have another SIM card from different SIM card provider and try it with the alarm system? No need to delete anything inside the card, just try it on the alarm system.

Which port did you connect the phone line to? Please make sure you connect the phone line to the "Line" port. Also, is the phone line for the alarm system shared with other devices? If yes, please try to connect the landline only to the alarm system. Also, if you have another telephone cord, please try with another cord as well.

Seems like the last 4-row jumpers below the 8-bit address jumpers are not correct.
Please email to us (sales@novibo.com) about how you want to setup the zones. For example:
Zone 1: Remote1 Zone 2: Remote2 Zone 3: PIR1 Zone4: Door Sensor1 ...... ...... Zone13: PIR10
Then we can send you some procedures to do the setup. Then it should help you to solve your problem.

Hi, Problem is that when I change jumpers ID the result is 4 fast beeps from the alarm and sensor not activating the alarm. How to solve this? Model SX X10. 10 door sensors + 3 Pir sensors. How to make each sensor assigned to different zone. So I need 13 sensors assigned to 13 zones. The alarm will send sms "wireless activated 1 to 13". Is this correct? Re: PostID[3662]
----------------------------------------------------------
Hi, you have a wrong idea about the jumper setting. There is no "particular' jumper setting for each sensor.
For the 8 rows address jumper, you can set whatever you like, then when you add that sensor to the system, the system will automatically assign a zone to that sensor.
So, the first sensor will be assigned to zone 1. Then if you want to group any other sensor to zone 1, you have to set the same jumper setting as the first sensor.
Then you can set a different 8-bit setting for another sensor and add it to the system. The system will assign it to zone 2. If you want to group other sensors to zone 2, then you have to have the same 8-bit jumper setting.
Similar procedures for zone 3-16.

Hi,
Could you please take a video to demonstrate the problem so that we can pass it to the manufacturer as well? You can email to sales@novibo.com, or post it on you tube and send us the you tube link.
Also, for the backup battery, may be the factory has installed a wrong type of button. Please try to use a tape or some tool to press the backup battery button (small red) and the battery should work.

Re: PostID[3652]

1. the tamper switch is pressed fully 2. I turned everything off (alarm unit, indoor siren, motion sensors, door sensors) with the same result. Siren goes on by its self. 3. Qwestion. When the big red button not pressed, if the alarm goes on, when I cut he power the siren goes off. That means that the battery is not working. What is the point of having a battery in the siren if when you cut the power the siren stops making noice? Is this normal??? 4. I tried to test the siren with the big red button pressed. I get the same result. The siren goes on by its self, but if you cut the power the battery is working. I hope I helped you and you can understand what is wrong. Thank you for your responses!!!

Hello. I just received the secBo GL8088A system I ordered from Novibo.
Well, I have serious problem with the PIR sensors, model SB-80. The sensors when turned ON, they detect movement every 5 seconds all the time!
I already had an alarm system and I want to replace it with the GL8088. The PIR sensors were placed to the exact place I had the previous ones, so the problem is not with the place I installed them.
In the PIR's sensor manual it says that the sensor needs 30 seconds to initialise. Unfortunately the sensors all the time detect movement every 5 seconds. I even covered the sensors to see what would happen and again the blue LED turns ON every 5 seconds.
I kindly ask for your technical support.

Is it possible that the tamper switch is not pressed fully onto the wall and cause the triggering? Please also try to turn off ALL the wireless sensors to see if the problem stops, if so, then we think there is an error of setup in the siren.

Hi, let's try to reset the siren (erase siren memory) by doing this:
1. Power on the siren 2. Press and hold the Learn button (red smaller button) for at least 10 seconds and the siren LED should flash once. It means memory is erased.
Now siren should not respond to the alarm main unit. You can leave the siren and see if it still rings randomly.

I checked both buttons and made sure they are ok. But I have the same result. The siren sounds a few hours after I connect it with power, even with the alarm system turned off. So everytime I conect the outdoor siren with power a few hours later (sometimes 14 hours, sometimes 3 hours) the siren bips every few seconds and a minute later it goes on without stopping. The only way to stop it is to cut off the power. All these with the alarm system either disarmed or off. Any suggestions?

Hi, 2 things may make the siren sound. 1st is the test button, there is a red button (bigger one) at the bottom of the siren, please make sure nothing is press/touching that button. 2nd is the tamper switch, please make sure the tamper switch is tigtly pressed against the flat surface you install the siren on.
If you turn off the alarm system and just power on the siren, would the siren give out sound?

Just yestarday I installed my new novibo gl8088d and everything worked fine. Now with the alarm disarmed, the outdoor siren started to bip every few seconds and some minutes later it went on. I pressed the disarm button on the remote, I disarmed the alarm on the alarm host (it was disarmed anyway) but the siren was still on. When I cut the power to the siren then it finanly went off. Now every time I put the power back on the outdoor siren goes on again. What shall I do??

Please note that the TX alarm doesn't have entry delay. Once the sensor is triggered, the alarm will set off immediately.
You can disarm the system by remotes, wireless keypad (optional item), phone call, or SMS.
